Jenny Cousins - BHSc (Podiatry)
Jenny has been the owner of Petone Foot Clinic since 2007. She is an experienced practitioner having qualified with a BHSc in Podiatry in 1999. Jenny practiced podiatry in a variety of Wellington locations before settling permanently in Petone. She is registered with the Podiatrists’ Board of New Zealand and is an active member of Podiatry New Zealand, including having served on its national executive from 2008-2010. Jenny engages in ongoing professional development by regularly attending conferences and seminars. Particular areas of expertise include orthotic prescription and minor surgeries on ingrown toenails and verrucae.
Sara Kothapally - BHSc (Podiatry)
Sara graduated in 2017 with a BHSc in Podiatry from Auckland University of Technology. Prior to that, she completed a BSc in Anatomy and Statistics at Otago University. Sara currently works in both the public health and private health sectors. Her work in public health largely focuses on managing high risk feet with a special interest in diabetes and vascular-related foot complications. She has worked within the Lower Hutt area as a locum Podiatrist and took up a position at the Petone Foot Clinic in mid 2019. Sara is passionate about improving the quality of patients’ lives by addressing and treating lower limb concerns. Sara is a registered Podiatrist, a member of the Podiatric Medical Practitioners CPD Network and Wound Care Society of NZ, and regularly looks to improve her skills and expand her knowledge through attendance at conferences and seminars.
Mimi Tran - Bachelor of Podiatry
Mimi is an experienced Podiatrist with a wealth of knowledge in the high risk foot. She graduated with a Bachelor of Podiatry from La Trobe University in Melbourne in 2002 and has worked in both private practice and in public health. In 2006, she moved to the United Kingdom where she worked as a locum Podiatrist for over 11 years in the National Health Service all around London. Since 2018, Mimi has been based in Wellington and continues to work for the Hutt Valley DHB and joined Petone Foot Clinic since its move to their new premises in October 2019. Mimi is a registered Podiatrist, a member of the Podiatric Medical Practitioners CPD Network and Wound Care Society of NZ, and regularly looks to improve her skills and expand her knowledge.
Hi! I'm one of the receptionists here. I take care of bookings, design, and the clinic's web presence. As well as working here, I'm studying at Victoria University of Wellington, and you might see some of my (childhood) art around the clinic.
